Introduction

At Splendid Wren Marketing, we want to be upfront about how we handle your information. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We are committed to handling personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you have any questions, you are welcome to get in touch through the details at the bottom of this page.

What personal information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact form submissions: When you fill in an enquiry or contact form on our site, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and whatever details you share in your message.
  • Newsletter opt-ins: If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name.
  • Client and lead information: Once you engage with our services, we may store your contact and business details, along with notes on our conversations and the services we provide, in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Website usage data: We use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use our site - things like pages viewed, time spent on site, device and browser type, and general location at a country or city level. This is aggregated, non-identifying information wherever possible.
  • Payment and booking information: If you make a payment or book a service through our website, our payment/booking processor, Stripe, collects the information needed to process that transaction, such as your name, contact details, and payment card information. We do not store your full card details ourselves. This is handled directly by our payment processor in line with its own security standards, such as PCI DSS.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, such as health, financial, or government-identifier details, through our website, and we ask that you do not include this kind of information in any form you submit to us.
